Watch this session on demand to get started with the CK-12 Certified Educator Program (CEP). This is a required session for participants looking for CK-12 certification and will include program logistics and a general overview of CK-12, as well as models for implementation. Throughout this session, you'll learn the CK-12 philosophy behind our 2.0 platform and concept-based learning and begin navigating this robust platform to find FlexBooks® and supporting modalities—reads, simulations, PLIX interactives, videos, assessment, real-world applications, and more—to meet your needs.

July 2019 Program Information: To become CK-12 Certified, you need to view the mandatory introductory and concluding sessions (on demand) and participate in five LIVE sessions (choosing a date and time for each webinar). You are welcome to attend more than the required sessions this summer, including our LMS break-out sessions and case studies. To become certified, you must attend five live sessions from these offerings, in addition to the two on demand sessions. If you are simply interested in joining us for one or more sessions without completing the full program, you may choose those here. Select your session dates and times. These two sessions do not require registration. The on demand content will be shared with all participants starting July 1, 2019 through the new FlexBook® 2.0 platform and can be watched at your convenience.
Certified Educator Program & CK-12 Overview -Available July 1 for those registered for the program.
Watch this session on demand to get started with the CK-12 Certified Educator Program (CEP). This is a required session for participants looking for CK-12 certification and will include program logistics and a general overview of CK-12, as well as models for implementation. Throughout this session, you'll learn the CK-12 philosophy behind our 2.0 platform and concept-based learning and begin navigating this robust platform to find FlexBooks® and supporting modalities—reads, simulations, PLIX interactives, videos, assessment, real-world applications, and more—to meet your needs.
Assignment: Certified Educator Program and CK-12 Overview
Beyond the CK-12 Certified Educator Program -Available July 19 for those registered for the program.
Wrap up this program by watching this final session on demand. This is a required session for participants looking for CK-12 Certification and will include logistics for completing your certification and ways you can share CK-12 with others. You'll leave with the tools to implement CK-12 in your class and present it to others, and the confidence that we are here to support you throughout the school year.

Does your school use Google Classroom? Join this breakout session to learn about CK-12's integration with Google Classroom. This session will help you understand what resources are available from CK-12 and how you can assign them to and see progress within your class on Google. (30 minutes)

Recertification
CK-12 Certified Educator Certificates are valid for two years from the time they are issued. If you would like to extend your certificate by another two years, see below.
August 2020 (or later) Certified Educators
You may work on the requirements below, but no action is needed until 2022. If you complete recertification before that time, your certificate will be valid for two years from that date.
August 2017 - 2019 Certified Educators
- Complete one (or more) of the following:
- Present CK-12 to a group of colleagues or at a conference within the past 6 months.
- Create a substantially customized FlexBook® and publish it on CK-12 with revisions made within the past 6 months.
- Record a video of your class in action within the past 6 months and submit it with an explanation of how you use CK-12 resources.
- Get a new certificate through the updated on-demand program. In this case you do not need to watch the updates session or fill out any forms.
- Watch the Updates for 2020 (January 2020) and What's New with CK-12? (October 2020) Sessions.
- Complete the following recertification form to document knowledge of CK-12 updates and request your certificate.
